Fair recruitment

Fair recruitment and alignment with the RAL quality seal.

IndoMedCare aligns its recruitment processes with the applicable legal requirements and with the principles of the quality seal “Faire Anwerbung Pflege Deutschland”. These include reliable information, transparency, voluntariness, respect for international standards and the employer-pays principle.

What fair recruitment means to us

Seven commitments to nursing professionals.

For the recruitment of internationally qualified nursing professionals, the following applies at IndoMedCare without exception:

No fees

Nursing professionals do not pay IndoMedCare any recruitment or placement fees.

No deposits

No deposits, security payments or comparable payments are required as a condition of recruitment, entry or employment.

No passport retention

Passports and other original documents are never retained as security.

No unlawful clauses

Unlawful repayment, penalty or binding clauses are not agreed with recruited individuals.

Information in good time

Essential information is provided in writing, in good time and in an understandable form.

Meeting before contract

Before an employment contract is signed, the nursing professional has the opportunity to meet the future employer in person or online.

Complaints without disadvantage

Complaints can be submitted without fear of disadvantage and are handled confidentially.

International standards

The standards we measure ourselves against.

Our work is guided in particular by the WHO Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel, internationally recognised human rights standards and the ILO principles of fair recruitment. Before active recruitment begins, we review the applicable legal requirements and relevant international safeguard provisions.

  • WHO Global Code of Practice – recruitment only where it is internationally permissible
  • ILO core labour standards and ILO General Principles and Operational Guidelines for Fair Recruitment
  • UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
  • Legal and quality-seal-related requirements in Germany

Quality seal “Faire Anwerbung Pflege Deutschland” (RAL-GZ 912)

The currently applicable 3rd edition of the quality and testing provisions covers the recruitment of internationally qualified nursing professionals. The 4th edition is still under development. A statutory extension of the scope to applicants seeking vocational nursing training is planned from 1 January 2027.

From 2027, IndoMedCare will also align the recruitment of trainees with these principles; it is already preparing its processes and regularly reviews its documents and procedures against the applicable requirements.

Transparency for audits

Publicly accessible – as the quality seal intends.

We publish these contents so that candidates, employers and audit bodies can follow how we work at any time.

Our General Terms and Conditions, recruitment agreements, internal human-rights risk management and evidence relating to the service chain are not public, but are made available to contracting parties and audit bodies in good time and in an appropriate form.
